Showcase of projects made with retiring Stampin’ Up!® craft supplies

Stampin Up UK discounts

I bet you’ve made – and maybe even written – all your Christmas cards by now but it’s never too soon to start preparing for next year. If you’re like me, you’re watching your craft budget carefully, which is why the Stampin’ Up!® Last Chance sale and Clearance Rack are so perfect.

Take a look at some of the projects I’ve made this year, using Stampin’ Up!® items which are currently (at the time of writing – Sunday!) available in the UK store, and are retiring soon.

Stampin’ Up!® Nested Treat Boxes – decorated for Christmas gift giving

Stampin Up Christmas Nested Treats box idea

I absolutely loved the Stampin’ Up!® catalogue sample showing the Nested Treat Boxes in the September-December Mini Catalogue, and couldn’t resist recreating it for my December Crafty Friday class.

Three projects using Stampin’ Up!® Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper

Stampin Up UK Winter Meadow ideas

The recent Starter Kit offer attracted lots of people into my Stampin’ Up!® team, so I thought it was time to send them a proper welcome pack.

I wanted to use the gorgeous Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper because I love it so much. Happily, this is now back in stock in the Europe warehouse and even more happily, this item will be carrying over beyond the end of the year.

I didn’t have a lot of this paper to spare, especially when making multiples, but my three projects show how a little paper can go a long way... and in the end, thanks to frugal cutting, I even had some leftovers.

Winter Meadow projects inspired by November mood board

Stampin Up mood board colour combo idea

Kickstart your Christmas creativity with my November mood board. There’s enough inspiration on this board to help you create all kinds of projects, and I used it as my starting point for several Stampin’ Up!® projects using Grassy Grove, the Christmas Classics bundle and Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper.

But first, how to use a mood board. It’s simple: just take inspiration from any or some of the photos and colours.

In this board, the colours are Soft Sea Foam, Lost Lagoon, Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake and Lemon Lolly.

There are no hard and fast rules so you can add extra colours, use the nearest you have, or ignore the colours and simply be inspired by one or more of the images.

Christmas card ideas with Christmas Classics and Merry Melody

Stampin Up Christmas Classics Merry Melody card idea

It’s October, which means Christmas cardmaking has begun in earnest. A local Women’s Institute group were the first to get a full-on Christmas card class, and we made two cards using the Christmas Classics stamp set from the Stampin’ Up!® September-December Mini Catalogue, and Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder, from the current Stampin Up!® annual catalogue.

Are these the easiest Christmas cards ever?

Stampin Up easy Christmas card idea

Do you have no time for crafting at the moment? Or maybe your mojo has gone walkabout? I'm hearing both of these issues from many of my Stampin’ Up!® customers and friends.

In fact, thanks to a new job and the commitment of rehabilitating a rescue dog, I barely have any crafting time for myself either.

Undeterred, I decided to throw some quick Christmas cards together at the weekend to show you how quick and easy making cards can be.

October Mood Board card ideas using Christmas Classics and Inked & Tiled from Stampin’ Up!®

Stampin Up UK Mood Board card ideas

Happy October! It’s a new month of new ideas from me, with the latest in my Mood Board series of Stampin’ Up!® projects. Please keep reading to see two projects I made using this board as my starting point.

I created this October Mood Board to inspire myself, my Stampin’ Up!® UK customers and team. But crafters everywhere can be inspired by the colours and/or images on the mood board – what will you make?

The colours on the mood board are Daffodil Delight, Shaded Spruce, Pretty Peacock, Calypso Coral and Real Red but, as always, use the nearest you have, or some, all or none of these colours. It really is just a jumping-off point.

Using two very different Stampin’ Up!® stamp sets – Christmas Classics and Inked & Tiled – I created two projects; one for Christmas and one for every day, to illustrate the broad range of projects which could be inspired by the mood board.
