The recent Starter Kit offer attracted lots of people into my Stampin’ Up!® team, so I thought it was time to send them a proper welcome pack.
I wanted to use the gorgeous Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper because I love it so much. Happily, this is now back in stock in the Europe warehouse and even more happily, this item will be carrying over beyond the end of the year.
I didn’t have a lot of this paper to spare, especially when making multiples, but my three projects show how a little paper can go a long way... and in the end, thanks to frugal cutting, I even had some leftovers.
I don’t have the Magical Meadow stamp set which coordinates with this lovely Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper but I found that my Ringed With Nature stamp set from Stampin’ Up!® goes really well too, so I could recreate some of the images from the paper using stamps and ink.
Picking up three colours from this sheet of Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper – Moody Mauve, Blueberry Bushel and Lost Lagoon – I put together this selection of projects.
There’s a welcome card, of course. This uses an old Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator-exclusive stamp set called Stamping Your Way to the Top, which is too useful to sell on, as well as the berries from Ringed With Nature.
Then there’s a mini notebook for all their Stampin’ Up!® plans and wish lists. This uses the Making Plans stamp set.
I stamped the words and Ringed With Nature berries on a shape cut with All That Dies, added some Lost Lagoon foliage cut with the Christmas Classics dies (now reduced in the Last Chance sale!).
Finally, making plans and Stampin’ Up!® wish lists requires sustenance, so there’s a little gift box with some chocolate and a teabag.
After covering the top with Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper, I stamped “Sending you sunny thoughts" with a greeting from Trucking Along, and added some foliage using the Christmas Classics dies.
All three Winter Meadow projects have now gone out to all my new Stampin’ Up!® team members, with an invitation to place their first order and receive another gift.
I hope you like my Winter Meadow projects and are tempted to make your own. They are a reminder that sometimes you may have products in your stash already which go perfectly with new papers.
