Are you looking for some Beary Cute project ideas? You’ve come to the right place.
I recently held a full day event using the Beary Cute stamp set from Stampin’ Up!®
Guests could choose to receive half a pack of either the Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper or A Walk in the Forest. Both packs of Designer Series Paper coordinate perfectly with the Beary Cute stamp set and I couldn’t choose so gave them the option.
This did mean I had to make two sets of projects which was no hardship as both sets of papers are gorgeous – and it means I have no fewer than 12 Beary Cute projects to show you... just in the nick of time before these products retire.
Yes, the Beary Cute stamp set, Beary Cute punch, Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper and A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper are ALL on the Stampin’ Up!® Last Chance list and now only available while supplies last. The sale goes live tonight (Monday) at 11pm here in the UK. Don’t miss it!
You’ll notice the bears on these projects are created in various ways, so I provided my attendees with this handy guide to making them. They’re all fairly self-explanatory apart from the last one, which is punched from the back of the Designer Series Paper to get a right-facing bear.
Here’s how: take another punched bear and place behind the right-facing bear, holding it up to the light to get it in position. Tape it in place lightly, then use this to position within the punch.
This project is a cute card with a secret: inside is a hidden envelope where you can enclose a gift card or some money.
It ties closed to keep the contents safe, although they’re not going to go anywhere and the ribbon is just decoration really.
I used a Notecard envelope, although any envelope which is smaller than the card will do.
It’s a great opportunity to show off some of the gorgeous Designer Series Paper.
This card really does let the Designer Series Paper do the hard work as the whole card base is made from a piece of folded DSP.
This one does work better using the Beary Christmas Designer Series paper as it has that lovely arctic scene inside.
This pack of Designer Series Paper doesn't have the lovely arctic scene but I think the forest piece works well, and it means you can stick your greeting panel inside without compromising the design.
Notecards and envelopes are perfect for Christmas cardmaking as some of the cutting and all of the folding is taken out of your hands.
This one uses cool blue papers from Beary Christmas and a fluffy polar bear made using the now retired Snowy White Velvet Sheets. I gifted a pack of these sheets from the Clearance Rack to the first 10 people who signed up for the class.
The A Walk in the Forest version has a stamped bear, stamped in Pecan Pie on white cardstock. It’s coloured in using the fir tree stamp, stamped repeatedly in Pecan Pie to get that lovely furry textured look.
This notecard makes the most of the Designer Series Paper with a fully covered card front. It’s a pretty simple design with a die-cute panel made with Radiating Stitches dies and a stamped and punched bear on top.
You don’t have to make bear cards with the Beary Cute stamp set; this one features trees and a present.
The background trees are stamped off (on scrap paper first) in Old Olive. The foreground tree is stamped on Old Olive cardstock with the foliage stamped in white.
The A Walk in the Forest version has the foreground tree stamped in Pretty Peacock on Old Olive, again with the foliage stamped in white.
On both versions, the presents are stamped directly onto Designer Series Paper and cut out for a fully coordinated look.
Finally, we decorated a Scalloped Gift Card Box using Designer Series Paper and added a circle label decorated with a stamped present. These are great little boxes which come with a slotted card to hold a gift card, which fits perfectly inside.
I hope you like my Beary Cute ideas. Remember, if you want any of these products, they are only available while supplies last so don’t delay!
