Springtime Foils Week Part 3: Sponged in Flirty Flamingo
To conclude Springtime Foils week here at All Things Stampy, here’s a really delicate project using shades of pink.
I love that you can easily add colour - here I’ve just sponged some Flirty Flamingo ink (retiring soon!) quite roughly, but it still looks lovely.
This card was heavily inspired by this project by Monica Gale – it’s definitely not my usual colour scheme or style, but it’s always good to challenge yourself.
Don’t forget you need to hurry if you want to order this Designer Series Paper as it’s a Sale-a-Bration freebie and therefore only available until the end of March.

Springtime Foils Week Part 2: Colouring with Stampin’ Blends
Here is a really fun way to use the striped sheet. I simply used my Stampin’ Blends to colour the stripes in candy shades. I used the light shade of each colour, and try not to go over the edges or the colours will blend into each other (don’t zoom in!).
The box is made with a 6"x6" sheet of DSP and the Envelope Punch Board. Simply punch and score at the 2" and 4" marks, then assemble into a cute little box. I punched holes in the flaps and threaded ribbon through to tie it closed. I finished it off with a piece of the leaf patterned DSP, coloured with Blends and fussy cut.
Inside are some tiny dog-shaped shortbread biscuits from Sainsbury s for my host, Mandy, who has a Scottie dog and is therefore obsessed with all things Scottie dog!

Springtime Foils Week Part 1: Mixed Metallics gift bags
No Mix It Up Monday project today as I’m working on a super-secret crafting project so have no time for any other crafting.
Instead, it’s Springtime Foils week here on AllThingsStampy, as I show you some projects using the gorgeous Springtime Foils Designer Series Paper (Sale-a-Bration).
These are the gift bags everybody received at my All-Day Craftathon on 10th March. I really milked the “mixed metallics” trent here with these gorgeous gold-striped bags, some silver glimmer paper and the Springtime Foils DSP which I sponged in Flirty Flamingo and *gasp* Peche Fraiche. The strip was brayered in black to give the copper dots a striking background.
Each bag contained a pretty guest soap, but my friend and helper Kelly needed a bigger gift, in a bigger package, so I made her this...
For the body of the pouch I used the beautiful floral sheet from Springtime Foils, and didn’t ink it or sponge it or colour it at all. It’s just beautiful as it is.

Eclectic Expressions
This is a brand new stamp set called Eclectic Expressions, which isn’t easy to say out loud, let alone type! It’s part of the new Sale-a-Bration collection and is one of those stamp sets that people will overlook... until they start seeing samples on Pinterest and wondering how they were made.
It has a vague weather theme if you look closely...
... we have a clouds, rain, snow, the moon (or sun) and some more images which are open to interpretation.
It is what I call “a stamper ’s stamp set” - for those who like to play around and create new looks. I remember the scepticism that greeted Gorgeous Grunge in the early days... and it went on to become one of our most popular and versatile stamp sets. So if you’re placing a £45 order this month or next, you may want to consider Eclectic Expressions as your freebie.
