Peaceful Place squirrel

I do love this little squirrel from Peaceful Place - I've stamped him onto Wood Textures DSP for a different look. The background is Hardwood and I've used the Layered Leaves embossing folder down the side for a bit of extra interest. 

Oh, and Artisan Textures around the edge of the card, and a tiny greeting from Waterfront. Yes, it's product heavy but if you've got it, use it!

Love What You Do with gorgeous Grapefruit Grove

I made this card a while ago but it seems to have slipped through the net. I CASEd and adapted it from Amy Koenders and the perfectionists among you will notice the slight mis-stamp on one of the green sprigs. Normally this sort of thing bothers me and I would stamp it again, but I decided to let it go – nothing in nature is perfect, after all.

Don’t you just love the colour combination? I’m a massive fan of the new Grapefruit Grove. And yes, I know it’s peach and I have not held back in my disdain for the thankfully now retired Pêche Fraiche, but this is a MUCH nicer peach which is a lot easier on the eye. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Mini wreaths aren’t just for Christmas you know. These little beauties, from page 197 of the Annual Catalogue, actually open out to form a long “branch”... just perfect for this little birdie to sit on. He’s coloured with the new Stampin’ Blends (Pool Party), as is the rhinestone, although that doesn’t show up too well in the photo.
