I am showcasing another overlooked Stampin’ Up!® product this week: Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper and Sticker Sheet.
This lovely paper can be found in the latest Stampin’ Up!® Scrapbooking Brochure, which is currently only available to view online. Because the scrapbooking line is relatively new to Stampin’ Up!®, there is no paper copy of the brochure, although this is set to change with the release of the next Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalogue in May, when the products will be included.
Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper (166632) is perfect for craft classes too because you get four of each design. This is one of the reasons I chose it for this month’s WI Craft Crew class; plus it goes brilliantly with Storybook Garden Patch (bundle 164667), my chosen stamp and die bundle.
I’m currently obsessed with these little Book Treat Boxes (164048) from Stampin’ Up!®. They are easy to decorate and just the right size for lots of little gifts. A pair of socks, some hand cream or, in my case, two little guest soaps which just happen to fit perfectly.
For this project I covered a Book Treat Box with some gingham Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper.
For the front, I stamped various images from Storybook Garden Patch (stamps only 164663) and die-cut them using the coordinating dies (dies only 164666). I coloured them using Watercolour Pencils, blended with Blender Pens.
They are arranged on a layer of white cardstock, stamped with a greeting from Simply Said (163756), layered onto some Pretty Peacock cardstock.
The closure flap has a self-adhesive label but I didn’t want to obscure my image so I left a gap between the white cardstock and Pretty Peacock cardstock for it to slide inside.
For my second project using the Storybook Garden Patch bundle and Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper, I made a matching card using the same products.
I began with a piece of Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper in a watercolour-effect design, on a white card base. The reverse of this design has these pretty dots on a Lost Lagoon background, which I used as a panel mounted onto Pretty Peacock cardstock.
Again I created a cluster of garden images using the Storybook Garden Patch bundle, on a punched circle stamped with Simply Said.
It’s finished off with some plain white ribbon (not Stampin’ Up!®).
My third project for today is this simple notebook which I covered using chipboard and Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper.
I decorated the front with a contrasting strip of paper and some stickers from the Everyday Happiness Sticker Sheet. With the sticker sheet, I was easily able to add a border, a circle image and some words without adding extra bulk.
You can purchase this sticker sheet with the Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper (166619) or you can buy the paper on its own (166632). If you want even more versatility from this range, you can also buy the Everyday Happiness Scrapbooking Workshop Kit (166628) which includes some of the Designer Series Paper, extra stickers and some two-tone 12x12 cardstock which you can use for scrapbook pages or other projects.
I hope you like my Storybook Garden Patch and Everyday Happiness projects. Together they make a lovely birthday gift for a gardener.
