Easy scrapbooking with Storybook Moments Designer Series Paper

Stampin Up Storybook Moments scrapbook

There are so many ways to scrapbook with Stampin’ Up!® products these days, and I’m loving them all.

One of the most economical ways is to use a pack of paper such as this Storybook Moments Speciality Designer Series Paper (164662). It features cute animal images and lovely vintage patterns. Within the pack are two full sheets of die-cut images which you can press out and use on your cards, scrapbook pages and more.

For this double-page spread, I used some Early Espresso 12x12 cardstock as my base, then layered up with some 12x12 cardstock in Basic White before decorating with Storybook Moments Speciality Designer Series Paper.

I used a 3" strip of the gorgeous Lost Lagoon vintage pattern across both pages to tie them together, then mounted my photos of sleeping babies on Basic White, Early Espresso and Lost Lagoon cardstock mats to help them stand out.

With the photos in place, I then decorated the page using the pop-out die-cut images from Storybook Moments Speciality Designer Series Paper.

I didn’t hold back but only had to dip my toe into the second sheet because there are just so many cute images to choose from.

For the journalling panel, I dipped into my huge collection of Stampin’ Up!® Memories & More cards. I have isolated all of the cards which are suitable for journalling, and am using them up on my scrapbook pages. That way, when I gift these pages to the babies' parents, they can see where to write their story.

Finally, the title is made with the very cute and clever Mini Alphabet Dies (162934) from Stampin’ Up!®, which cut the whole alphabet in one go, repeating the most common letters.

To make it even easier, I stuck my Lost Lagoon cardstock to an Adhesive Sheet (152334) before die-cutting, so my letters came out self-adhesive.

I hope you like my Storybook Moments scrapbook pages and are inspired to make some pages of your own. I held a joint cardmaking and scrapbooking event at the weekend and was delighted to see so many people reawakening their scrapbooking mojos!
