A week ago, it was Mother’s Day here (or Mothering Sunday, if I don’t want to get told off!) My Mum loves butterflies, so I made her this card. I don’t have a Mother ing Sunday stamp but I thought this sentiment from Sheltering Tree was perfect.
My Mum is quite the phenomenon. A couple of years ago, at the age of 79, she completed a sky dive, because she didn’t want her grandchildren to remember as an old lady who knits (!) and lately she’s become something of a radio star. If you fancy a laugh, have a listen to this clip of her reviewing a certain popular film with her friend... I think we can safely say she won’t be remembered for her knitting!
