Caturday - black cats are best
Here’s a Halloweeny black cat for you - a day late but still cute! For the past few weeks I’ve been working on a calendar for the cat shelter... a much bigger job than I anticipated. I’ve done calendars before, at work, but this time I had to source the images and create the calendar pages, too. Thankfully My Digital Studio has a fabulous feature, which allows you to choose your month and year, and it create a calendar which you can edit to any size, changing fonts and the general look of it to suit.
This was one of a series of pictures I took in the hope of getting the perfect Halloween shot. But, as they say, never work with children or animals. And black cats are the hardest of all to photograph! Needless to say, this didn’t make the final cut!
I don’t know the cat’s name... there have been loads of black kittens at the shelter recently (I’ve been in heaven!) but I do know that he’s now gone to his new home. There are still more, though, if you want to take a look...
