Around the World Challenge... and Caturday, too

Well, this is a bit awkward, because the Around the World Challenge has fallen on a Caturday. And, as regular visitors will know, Caturday is all about the cats!

But rules is rules, so here is my Around the World Challenge card, which was a colour combo challenge, to use Real Red, Hello Honey and Baked Brown Sugar. (Scroll down for your Caturday fix!)

Psssst! Don’t tell anyone but I cheated ever so slightly. You see, you can’t buy Blendabilities in Real Red (yet – who knows what the future will hold?), but I do have the Cherry Cobbler set. And of course, now that I have tried Blendabilities, I am completely hooked and didn’t want to use the Stampin’ Write markers for colouring, so that’s where I cheated. Only a little bit, mind.

I’m still enjoying this Visions of Santa stamp set. I know it divides opinion, but those silly Santas just make me giggle. And I especially love that this one looks so miserable, which is why I chose to stamp “very merry Christmas” next to him. In keeping with the quirky nature of this set, I decided to angle my layers slightly ... no I hadn’t been at the mulled wine, I meant it to look like that!

And now it’s your turn... have a go at this challenge yourself and join in the fun! All the details, and more inspiration, can be found HERE – you’re looking for AW29.

And now it’s Caturday... and I have three little kittens for you today. These are the dictator kittens (because two the litter have Hitler moustaches – only one of them is pictured here) but they couldn’t  be less like dictators... they’re extremely sweet. And they’re growing fast, as you can see...
