10 projects using Celebratory Sips Suite

In my opinion, one of the best ever Stampin’ Up!® Suites never to appear in the catalogue is Celebratory Sips (165600), featuring the Cheers & Sips bundle (165594) of stamps and dies.

This fabulous suite is a Stampin’ Up!® Online Exclusive, launched in May. It was the theme of an all-day class I held in June and I’ve only just realised I never shared the projects here, so buckle up for 10 very different projects using this lovely Suite.

The day was a mix of simple and more complicated projects. I like to give people options! All my craft days are relaxed events where people work at their own pace from written tutorials. This means they can skip any projects they aren’t keen on and, if supplies allow, make extras of their favourites.

First up was perhaps the trickiest project; this double accordion gatefold card, adapted from a tutorial by Tami White.

This is a really fun project which is much easier than it looks - particularly my simplified version – and provides an excellent opportunity to show off this beautiful Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper (165586).

There is minimal stamping on my card, as there are so many lovely images which can be cut out of the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!®.

Next up is this gel card which I confess has somehow leaked since making it so I may need to refine the process. The card has a layer featuring a little cello bag (a press-seal would be more secure!) containing some orange bubble bath to represent the drink.

My favourite feature of this card is the window sheet with die-cut pattern. This is a really fun die in the Cheers & Sips bundle which enables you to create the effect of a cut glass tumbler.

The fruit images are stamped using the Cheers & Sips stamp set and coloured using a blender pen and ink pad lids.

This card mainly focuses on stamping, with squares of stamped images mounted onto some of the Secret Sea Designer Series Paper. There is glimmer paper here, too, which I picked up from the Last Chance list so I could give every attendee a full pack to play with.

This card, again, shows the versatility of the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper, as all images are cut out from there. Even the background piece is cut from a wonderful sheet of watercoloured panels.

This card showcases that same sheet of Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper which features panels of watercolour-effect colour. These are perfect for stamping a glass outline and cutting out with the Cheers & Sips dies.

To continue the theme. I stamped the fruit and foliage images directly onto Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper and die-cut them from there.

This card also features drinks cut from Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper. The tall drink is fussycut from a sheet of paper, cherry and umbrella and all. The one on the right is die-cut from that watercolour panel paper, showing how easy it is to make effective drinks with very little effort.

To go with this lovely card in its beautiful purples, we made a matching gift bag. These gift bags were available in the Stampin’ Up!® Last Chance collection at the time of the class, although I notice they have now sold out. We decorated the front and back of the bag with a panel of Blackberry Bliss cardstock.

The front features two drinks fussycut and die-cut from Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper, with a strip of purple patterned paper from the same pack, which is repeated on the back.

To showcase the versatility of the Celebratory Sips bundle, this drinks on this card are stamped and coloured in using Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers from Stampin’ Up!®. I had to be really disciplined to leave a tiny white gap between the drink and the outline, emulating the look of the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper.

A fruit-themed bag finished off the projects. This bag came in the same pack as the smaller one, and is perfect for slightly larger gifts. This time we made a flap covered in fruit-themed paper to fold over the front, tied together with some Strawberry Slush ribbon.

A matching gift tag is decorated with fruit fussycut from Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper.

I hope you enjoy my projects made with the Cheers & Sips bundle and are tempted to add at least some of the Celebratory Sips Suite to your Stampin’ Up!® stash.
