Caturday... no, wait... Dogurday!

I’m all for inclusivity so why shouldn’t Caturday be taken over just this once by an extremely cute puppy? This is Ernie and while he may look like a pyjama case, he is actually a real dog.

He only has little legs though, so it doesn’t take much for this to happen. Completely wiped out, bless him.

Don’t panic, cat fans... normal service will be resumed next week.

Caturday (and Dogurday): Why I was running behind this morning

I went for a walk with a former work colleague this morning but was very nearly late. Why? Because of this. Who could resist snuggling with this very obliging boy?

I made it for the walk in the end, and this happened... Ernie got very, very wet and dirty. That's what happens when you go swimming in the River Dove!

Caturday: Allie (and Elsa)

My friends have been trying to sneak a dog into Caturday. So far, only Ernie has managed that incredible feat (twice!)

But today I bring you a cat AND dog, living in the sort of harmony that we can't even achieve with just cats, let alone another species. They are Allie (cat) and Elsa, a rescue dog which my friend Jane fostered temporarily but who inevitably wormed her way into Jane’s heart and life permanently.
