Flowering Desert Week: Hot and fiery sunset cactus scene

This month I celebrated my team achievers with some colourful cactus cards with a brayered sunset background and the Dot to Dot embossing folder. I love the warmth of this colour combo...

  1. Fabulous! Super color combo that's warm and a touch of sizzle.. Very Santa Fe/Albuquerque.

    1. Thank you! I must admit I do love this combo, even though I'm not a fan of bright pink... or brown... or Calypso Coral!

  2. Ahhhhh... brayered. I was wondering how you achieved that ombré look in the background. I don’t have the sponge bracers..... I wonder if it would work with the old fashion ones su used to have..... might have to try....

    1. Hi Petra, yes the rubber brayer will work just as well. My ladies don't get on with it (despite intense training, shouting, threats of violence etc) and prefer the new sponge brayers. There are advantages and disadvantages of each, of course.
