Caturday: Cobweb is cross about something...

When we were planning our new dining room, we decided that a certain corner needed a chair. Not a dining chair but an armchair. We jokingly referred to this as “Cobweb’s chair”.

Now we actually have a new dining room, with a chair in the corner. Not a particularly comfortable chair, and not in the corner we planned, but a chair nonetheless. And guess what? Cobweb has commandeered it. But we all like sitting in the new dining room because it’s so much nicer than it used to be, and there’s a lovely new wood-burning stove which makes it cosy, so the other evening I decided to sit in “Cobweb’s chair” and read my book.

This is what faced me… the whole time. She glared and glared and me… and occasionally let out a very cross miaow. Not easy to ignore. Looks like if I want to sit by the fire reading my book, I’m going to need another chair. But I can guess what would happen to that – it would become Mr Winky’s chair.
