Postage stamp birthday card

Here’s another really easy card to make with Perfect Postage (can you tell I didn’t have much time?). I stamped the candle cake image several times on Whisper White and punched it out with the co-ordinating Postage Stamp Punch. I took a strip of Riding Hood Red and stuck the first image in the centre, working outwards and butting each image right up to its neighbour, to resemble a real strip of postage stamps (although they don’t really come like that any more, do they – they’re all in little books!).

There’s that little button again – these are so cute, don’t know why I didn’t get them sooner!

Stamps: Perfect Postage, It’s Your Day
Cardstock: Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive, Riding Hood Red
Ink: Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive
Accessories: Linen Thread, Modern Label Punch, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Itty Bitty Buttons

  1. This is a wonderful CAS card! I love your 'roll' of postage stamps! When I was younger, this was the only way I saw stamps. I can still taste the glue...
The little button with the thread is so sweet!
