A sunny day for scrapbooking

Saturday was my Sunny Day scrapbooking class, where 10 ladies each made six – yes, SIX – 12x12 scrapbook pages in an afternoon. That’s a record by my standards, if not yours!

Everyone had half of a kit to play with – you get so much in one of these kits that half was plenty for six pages – and took the leftovers home to embellish future scrapbook pages or cards.

I had designed six pages (four single pages and a double page spread) for people to copy, or they could go their own way if they wished. Most people did a mixture.

Here’s one of the pages we made – a very simple page with one picture, a title and a little bit of journaling. The funky bird and flower come from the kit – they are self-adhesive die-cuts (ie, very thick stickers) and, best of all, they are repositionable, so you can play around until you are happy.

The kit and one of its colours, Pink Passion, are on the retiring list this month so, after September 30th, you won’t be able to buy them any more. In fact, they’re only available while stocks last so, if you fancy having a go at creating pages like this one, please get in touch fast!
