Eeew, not so keen on this one, which was going ok until the stapler came out. The challenge was to make a card using an everyday household object... plus a masking technique. So I masked the sun and chalked a blue sky, which you can’t see too well due to the late-night lighting. Then I used a cotton bud to colour in the white area with Summer Sun chalk and stamped over the top before colouring the image with Watercolour Wonder™ crayons. The staples are disastrous, especially the bottom ones which had to come out and be redone. But what can I say? It was 11.30pm.

I like the staples - they're fun and kind of retro. CC
ReplyDeleteIt really is a cute card overall. I should use that stamp set more often.
ReplyDeleteBut I have to admit that I was never a fan of the staples trend.
I see what you mean about the staples, but I still love this card - you have some fab ideas.
