Stepping it up with new catty products

This is an example of “stepping up” your cardmaking - that is, taking a simple idea and making it more detailed.

The little square Love Note I made in seconds (yes, you can make a card in seconds, although it does help to have everything you need in front of you) by stamping the flowers, then inking the word “friend” from the Good Friend set with a marker. I did pause to use the Stamp-a-ma-jig® so that I didn’t mess up at the last minute.

A nice, simple card, I thought. Then I thought how the same design could be used as the basis for a more elaborate card. So I stamped the same again (well, near enough) on a 3” square piece of Whisper White cardstock and layered it onto another card. Look! It even has glitter on the flowers!

And I love this colour combo now - Ruby Red, Taken with Teal and Whisper White!

Stamps: Good Friend
