Don’t miss these Last Chance products from the July-December Mini Catalogue

Whimsical Trees Stampin Up

Can you believe our lovely July-December Stampin’ Up!® Mini Catalogue is coming to an end? It seems like only a few weeks ago that it was launched and we were all excited about new autumn and winter products.

From tomorrow (Wed) we enter the retirement period for this catalogue, which means it is your last chance to order your favourite items.

If you click on the second sheet on that document you will also see a list of items which are  carrying over to of 2022 and will be available during the remainder of the Annual Catalogue period (until the end of April), plus those which are going into storage and will return in July 2022 for the Jul-Dec Mini Catalogue. Hopefully this will help you plan your festive projects.

Today, therefore, I would like to show you some of the gorgeous stamp sets which are on the retiring list. Some of these are heavily reduced so would make a fantastic bargain if you want to get a head start for Christmas 2022.

Whimsical Trees Stampin Up

Whimsy & Wonder Suite

From this suite, the Whimsical Trees stamp set is retiring, along with the Christmas Trees Dies, the Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper and the Blushing Bride Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon. Only the Wonderful Snowflakes (die-cut elements) survive – and they won’t be available again until the July-December 2022 Mini Catalogue.

My projects at the top of this post are made with the Whimsical Trees bundle, while the one above is from the catalogue uses the bundle, the Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper and, from elsewhere, the Gold Holly Leaves, which are also going into retirement until July.

Arctic Bears Stampin Up

Arctic Bears

The Arctic Bears bundle is gorgeous and, while I do have it and have used it, I haven’t managed to photograph my projects yet, so enjoy this one from the Mini catalogue. Both the Arctic Bears stamp set and coordinating Polar Bears dies are retiring – and in the UK both are heavily reduced so are a chance to grab a bargain.

Holly Jolly Wishes Stampin Up

Holly Jolly Wishes

The Holly Jolly Wishes stamp set is a standalone set and well worth adding to your craft stash, especially from tomorrow when it becomes an amazing half-price bargain at just £10. It features lots of festive greetings, from the fun to the more elegant and serious.

Sweet Stockings Suite Stampin Up

Sweet Stockings Suite

This entire suite is retiring, and some of the items are reduced in the UK. This includes the Sweet Little Stockings Bundle, the individual elements of Sweet Little Stockings stamp set and Stockings Dies, the Matte Decorative Dots, Jolly Felt and, for year-round crafting, Pool Party Striped Grosgrain Ribbon. A must-have set whether you love cats, dogs, guinea pigs or just the stockings shown here.

Snow Wonder Stampin Up

Snow Wonder

Both the Snow Wonder stamp set and the Snow Time dies are retiring, along with the bundle (stamps and dies). If you like more tradiational, elegant images, this is definitely one for you.

Here are some more picks from the retiring list – I’ve chosen 10 stamp sets you can grab for a tenner each, and five products which are under a fiver!

Introducing the new Stampin' Up!® Harvest Meadow Suite

Harvest Meadow Stampin Up card idea

Today the new Stampin’ Up!® July-December Mini Catalogue goes live (yes I know it’s August but hey, Covid!) and I’m excited to introduce you to the new Harvest Meadow Suite.

It’s not often I buy a whole suite of products from a Stampin’ Up!® catalogue but just sometimes it’s easier to type that single item code than wade my way through all those different numbers. This was the case with this gorgeous suite.

I love everything in this suite; the Nature’s Harvest stamp set, the Harvest Dies, the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, the Diamond Weave Ribbon, the Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots, the Cork Speciality Paper and of course the lovely Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper.

Not all of those products are shown here but I had a pretty good stab at many of them to make these two cards.

The first card here is based on the one on page 71 of the new Mini Catalogue. You often find extra card ideas at the back of the catalogue where the bundles are displayed. The colours of the card sample in the catalogue didn’t speak to me so I swapped the paper for this lovely Misty Moonlight design from the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper pack.

I coloured the image using Stampin’ Blends; Calypso Coral for the petals, Mango Melody for the flower centres and Mint Macaron for the leaves and stems.

Die-cut leaves, stems and flowers provide a fitting backdrop for the coloured image. I cut these from Crumb Cake, Bumblebee and some lovely gold paper from the Gold & Rose Gold 6" X 6" Metallic Speciality Paper pack.

The greeting is stamped in black, cut out with the long die from the set and overlaid onto a piece of gorgeous cork, which I’ve hand cut (and which no matter how hard I tried, still looks wonky!).

It’s finished off with a linen thread bow and dotted around are Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots.

For the second card I repeated the same greeting on cork motif, along with a similar arrangement of stamped and die-cut images, but laid these onto a white panel which is popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals to make it stand out from the Designer Series Paper background. I love this sheet of paper from the same Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper pack; this pack really is very varied, while keeping with the colour theme.

This time I’ve used a greeting stamp from another set – Artistically Inked – and added the dots either side of the words. This is a good way of making it look like your sentiment fits the die-cut panel perfectly!

Behind the greeting panel is a swirl of linen thread. I confess I always struggle with these. The trick seems to be to use double-sided tape directly onto your project, then just loop your thread around and stick it to the tape to hold it down as you go.

I had a great time playing with this new suite and hope you like the projects and products as much as I do!

Remember, not only has the Mini Catalogue gone live but Sale-a-Bration has started! If you are in the UK, buying this whole suite collection would earn you two Level 1 Sale-a-Bration freebies, or one Level 2.

Alternatively, you could spend £99 and upgrade to the Starter Kit which would grant you access to my Stampin’ Up!® team, along with ongoing discounts and sneak peeks. I’d love to have you on board so please message me via my website if you would like more details or if you’d like me to give you a call.
