A look back at the biggest Stampin’ Up!® papercraft and card making trends of 2022

Biggest card making papercraft trends 2022 stampin up

As the year comes to a close, I thought I would take a look back at some of 2022’s biggest cardmaking and papercrafting trends in the Stampin’ Up!® world.

Looking back, there were several stand-out themes which appeared time and time again, not just in my own projects but in those created by our fabulous Stampin’ Up!® Artisan Design Team and talented demonstrators worldwide.

Here are the top cardmaking and papercrafting themes which I have identified from the past year.

How to find – and use – cardmaking and papercraft inspiration effectively

how to find cardmaking and papercraft inspiration

A while ago I asked my Stampin’ Up!® customers and Facebook followers what was holding them back from crafting – and I was shocked that many of them said it was inspiration.

This surprised me because there’s LOADS of inspiration out there. Blogs, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, the Stampin’ Up!® catalogue... and that’s when it struck me:

The problem isn’t a lack of inspiration but information overload.

So, with the Christmas holiday looming and possibly the chance to do some crafting over the break, how do you narrow down all that amazing inspiration into something you can actually MAKE with your Stampin’ Up!® supplies?

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas... so it’s time to bring out some Christmassy crafts.

Every year I try to create a Christmas decoration from my Stampin’ Up!® supplies and this year is no exception, with this delicate white and gold heart ornament.

My pick of the last-chance retiring Stampin’ Up!® products in the UK

Discounted retiring Stampin Up stamps UK

It’s that time of year again – time for another Stampin’ Up!® Mini Catalogue to retire.
This means lots of our favourite products are going away, which can be sad, but it’s also an opportunity to order them before they go – and some of them are available at amazing discounts.

Today I want to showcase some of the products which I know I have overlooked, so you may have too.

In creating this post, I discovered that many Stampin’ Up!® Mini Catalogue products have already sold out, particularly Designer Series Paper and dies, so please do make your shopping list from the online store, not from any retiring list you may have saved.

But at the time of writing (Monday – do you honestly think I get up at 6am to post?), all of these products were still available in the Europe Stampin’ Up!® store.
