Will you be sad to see the outgoing Stampin’ Up!® In Colors™ leave us at the end of this month? I know I will.

Before I get my head filled with brand new products, I thought I’d have another play with the 2022-2024 In Colors™. These vibrant Stampin’ Up!® colours – Starry Sky, Orchid Oasis, Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party and Tahitian Tide – will all be retiring at the end of April 2024 and are now only available while supplies last.

I began my In Color™ craft session by using up some scraps and other supplies. I dug out some Starry Sky, Orchid Oasis, Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party and Tahitian Tide scraps and cut them into 5mm strips. Yes, that’s very narrow and yes I did regret it once I’d started.

I pasted these onto a piece of scrap Stampin’ Up!® grid paper, pushing them close together to close up any gaps.

Then I simply trimmed it down to make my own fun patterned paper, which I mounted onto a piece of Basic White cardstock.

I used the absolutely gorgeous Delicate Forest dies from Stampin’ Up!® to create a white foreground, onto which I stamped Happy Birthday using Garden Meadow. A piece of retiring Starry Sky Baker's Twine (item 159195) finishes it off.

The whole thing is mounted onto an already-retired Orchid Oasis card. I just hope I can find the matching envelope as these are US sizing.

My second card is a little simpler, and uses another retired card – this time in Tahitian Tide.

I apologise because I thought this In Color glimmer paper was still current but apparently it retired last year. You could achieve a similar effect by brayering Starry Sky and giving it a coating of Wink of Stella, or taking some pale Glimmer Paper and spraying it with Starry Sky ink.

Again I have used the Delicate Forest dies to create a white scene. I did actually consider turning this into a Christmas card but it was still March when I made this and it felt WAY too soon.

Instead, I stuck a little tab saying Hello, stamped with Garden Meadow and die-cut with the Delicate Forest dies, all from Stampin’ Up!®

Finally, another reminder that these colours are retiring very soon and are now available only while supplies last. In Color™ items are often the first items to sell out so don't delay! While you can compromise on some of these colours, there is no substitute for gorgeous Orchid Oasis or Sweet Sorbet so I expect these will be the first to go.

And here’s some exciting news... if you’re in the UK, I am running a special offer throughout April. For every £10 you spend during April, I will give you a £10 voucher to spend on my retired items in May.
