Have you ever used Memories & More Cards from Stampin’ Up!®? I love them for quick and easy projects.
They are of course perfect for pocket scrapbooking, but also great for so much more. I have used them here to make some simple cards, combining Stampin’ Up!® Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Cards with the coordinating Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Cards & Envelopes, with just the addition of some fab Black and White Gingham Ribbon (a favourite of mine).
Using these products means making your own cards doesn’t have to be difficult and you don’t need any special skills either. I had half a pack of Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Cards and half a pack of the matching Cards & Envelopes to work with to make these cards, and have quite a few supplies left over.
Let’s take a look in more detail...
How cute is this dog? This is a really cute little Memories & More Card from Stampin’ Up!®, which I have simply trimmed slightly so I could layer it on top of another card to reveal a hatched border. The addition of some Black & White Gingham Ribbon finishes it off, and I’ve mounted it onto one of the blue/green Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Cards & Envelopes.
Say hello in style with this fun card. The card does all the work here – all I’ve done is trim it as before so it can be layered onto a black-based card. If you would rather preserve your Stampin’ Up!® Memories & More Cards, you can layer onto Basic Black cardstock instead (then you don’t even need to trim the top layer, as you can make the black layer slightly bigger).
To finish, I used some of the star stickers from one of the sheets which are included in the Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Cards pack.
This time I used one of the yellow cards as my base and mounted a floral card on top, layering it onto a piece of black cardstock. I cut out “Let’s celebrate” from one of the Memories & More cards and popped that up on Dimensionals. To finish off, I added a sticker strip of hearts, popping that up on Stampin’ Dimensionals too.
“Hello There” is such a lovely reason to send a card – in other words, no reason at all! This is all printed on the Memories & More card, which I’ve trimmed quite a bit off to reveal the lovely yellow card beneath. I added a strip of black cardstock at the bottom to give it some weight, then some Black & White Gingham Ribbon around it, tied in a simple knot.
I’ve used more star stickers to embellish, popping them up on Dimensionals to add interest.
This card is a little more complex, but is still made up only of elements from Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Cards, plus Basic Black cardstock and Black & White Gingham Ribbon, all from Stampin’ Up!®.
I’ve cut three strips of Memories & More Cards (don’t ask for measurements, I just winged it!) and mounted them onto a piece of black cardstock, finishing off with gingham ribbon again, plus a Happy Birthday sticker and flowers, all popped up on Dimensionals.
Finally, I can’t help including this project, which uses extra products in the form of the really fun Love Cats stamp set from the Jan-Apr Stampin’ Up!® Mini catalogue and some Basic White cardstock. I could have used Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Cards & Envelopes here; in fact I don’t know why I didn’t but I used a Thick Basic White card base instead.
I trimmed down this “wall” Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Card so there was no black brick on the top layer. This was important so I could stamp the cat on top of the bricks.
I used my Stamparatus to position the cat on the wall, stamping twice – once on the white layer and once on the bricks. You could achieve the same effect just by eye but the Stamparatus makes it so much easier.
I don’t send Valentine cards so trimmed down the stamp too, to say “Hi there”. I do this all the time with my photopolymer Stampin’ Up!® stamps but it’s a whole different ballgame when it’s red rubber. However, I was feeling brave!
I hope you like my projects using the Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Cards and matching Cards & Envelopes, and are inspired to take another look at these versatile products.
