Caturday: Mr Winky

This picture, taken last night of Mr Winky (who has no discernible features in this photo ... or much in real life, to be honest), reminds me of the line from the children’s book, My Cat Likes to Hide in Boxes, about the cat from Norway getting stuck in the doorway. Mr Winky wasn’t stuck but it was a completely random place to sit. There’s absolutely no reason to sit there – no warm patch, no underfloor heating – other than to cause maximum inconvenience for the householders. And in case you’re wondering why we have a patchwork of wood finishes and colours... the room isn’t finished yet.

Moving on... please come back tomorrow as I’ll be taking part in a Blog Hop with demonstrators around the world, as we show you some gorgeous projects from the new Spring/Summer catalogue.
