It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas... so it’s time to bring out some Christmassy crafts.
Every year I try to create a Christmas decoration from my Stampin’ Up!® supplies and this year is no exception, with this delicate white and gold heart ornament.
This was one of the projects we made at my Crafty Friday class last week. It does use a lot of Stampin’ Up!® products but I figured if I have them, I may as well use them.
We began with a simple wooden heart from my stash. As the class was on Zoom, I had done all the die-cutting for everyone in advance, so it was really just a case of sticking things down.
We did add a spot of colour to one side of the tree trunks, to create some depth, then all we had to do was make sure everything was stuck in the right order.

Our second project was a small square box with a fun circle enclosure. I made one of these many years ago but hadn’t done so since so thought it was time to revive it.
It’s a really simple little box which you can make from two 6x6" sheets of any Stampin' Up!® Designer Series Paper, so is ideal for using up any leftover Christmas designs before the end of the year.
These little boxes would make fabulous table favours, or packaging for small gifts such as jewellery, vouchers, soaps or chocolates.

The top closes just like a traditional cardboard box, folding each flap down in turn, then tucking the last one under the first. You can leave it like that or, if you want to finish it with a flourish, you can make a belly band of ribbon like I did and decorate a tag to match. Any excuse to use my Christmas Season stamps and Seasonal Labels dies, which are some of my all-time favourite Stampin’ Up!® products.
I hope you like my Christmassy projects and have a go at making them yourself. If you are based in the UK or Ireland I would love it if you shopped at my store. If you use the December 2022 host code MDYHAHQF, I will send you a thank you gift in January.
