Thank you to everyone who visited my blog yesterday for the Around the World Blog Hop. I hope you enjoyed seeing the different projects created around the globe using the fabulous new products from the new Spring/Summer catalogue. It goes live tomorrow, which is very exciting!
Meanwhile, It’s Mix It Up Monday again and time for another colour combination from my In Color charts.
And I think it’s confession time. I have to admit that I don’t really like Cucumber Crush. I thought I would, because it’s green and I love green, but it’s just a bit too harsh for me. I made this card yesterday after spending the afternoon playing with Old Olive and Island Indigo. When I switched to Cucumber Crush and Pacific Point for this project, I realised that I felt much more at home with the “duller”, more subdued tones.
Having said that, I do quite like this card. By putting the emphasis on the Whisper White, the colours can pop without overwhelming, and the Soft Sky keeps them in check.

Love this card and the colours. Pacific Point is one of my favourites but very much under used I think.
