Mix It Up Monday: Retro typewriter

It’s Mix It Up Monday again! (Yes, I remembered) and I think this is one of my favourite combos using In Colors so far. If you recall, I am aiming to use Mondays to post a project using one of my fabulous colour combinations from this post. This time it’s the turn of Watermelon Wonder, Pear Pizzaz, Chocolate Chip and Tip Top Taupe. I love the retro vibe of these colours, particularly when used with Very Vanilla.

I have to say that Tip Top Taupe is proving to be a winner for me. It really does go with everything.

For this project - made while I was still waiting for my new stamps to arrive - I wheeled out an old favourite from last year’s catalogue; Tap, Tap, Tap. (“Tap, Tap, Tap in Tip Top Taupe” - now that's a bit of a tongue-twister!)

I don’t think I’ll ever tire of that old typewriter. Well, I would if I still had to type on one! Incidentally, did you know that “typewriter” is one of the longest English words you can type using only the top row of the typewriter keys? What a marvellous fact that is.
