Ornamental Pine with Crystal Effects

Every time I get to use this stamp set I kick myself that I didn’t order it for myself. But I already have lots of stamp sets from the Autumn/Winter catalogue and really don’t need any more... do I? But it’s absolutely gorgeous and I keep seeing more and more ideas for it, which really doesn’t help – it just makes me want it even more!

Here I’ve kept the card very simple, stamping the pine branches in Mossy Meadow, then repeating without re-inking (ie, stamping off) to get various shades of green. I stamped the bauble on a separate piece of cardstock and cut it out, covering it completely in Crystal Effects to make it shiny, something which doesn’t really come across in this photo. Crystal Effects can blur the colours slightly (with some inks) but I don’t mind. I just love this stamp set!
