Retiring products: Storybook Friends and So Sorry

Here’s a project made up of several retiring products, so if you want to get your hands on them you’ll have to hurry as you only have until the end of the month!

I made this card a while ago but my daughter told me it was in bad taste. It’s a sympathy card for my friend, whose beautiful cat died on the road. Daughter says it’s bad taste to put a picture of a cat on it – what do you think?

Fortunately my friend wasn’t so sensitive when she received it and appreciated the sentiment.

I used one of my favourite sets, Storybook Friends, and the lovely Pear Pizzazz sheets from Gingham Garden. So Sorry is one of the most useful stamp sets in my arsenal and I highly recommend it - I’ll definitely be hanging onto it when it retires. It’s handy for lots of occasions when an apology or expression of sorrow is required. It even has one specially for occasions such as this and the inside is stamped with “for the loss of your beloved pet”.

So, apart from So Sorry, what else is retiring from this card? The DSP of course (they are all going), the gorgeous gorgeous Storybook Friends stamp set, and the Crochet Trim. All lovely products and worth grabbing while you can!

  1. I think your card is perfect! We received a few cards when our first dog died and some had pets on them. I thought they were sweet and appreciated the kindness of the senders.
