Poppy cardstock on parade

I never thought I’d make a card out of Poppy Parade cardstock but this new Designer Series Paper has made me fall in love with this colour! This is my favourite DSP of the moment, and probably my favourite SU paper so far, so I’m happy to report that, while I’m nearing the end of my first pack, I still have a couple more to play with.

This is a very simple birthday card to make but the gorgeous paper and the fancy die-cut provide lots of interest.  It’s the sort of project you can rattle off in batches in a hurry, so you know you’ll never be short of a birthday card.

And, again, it’s made with free stuff! Free paper (SAB), free stamp set (exclusive hostess product), free dies (free hostess merchandise). If you’d like to know how to get free craft stash, please do get in touch. Right now there are freebies for everyone: customers, hostesses and new demonstrators!

Stamps: Happiest of Birthdays (hostess)
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Poppy Parade, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party
Paper: Everyday Enchantment (SAB)
Ink: Poppy Parade
Accessories: Scallop Border Punch, Wide Oval Punch, Lots of Tags dies, Big Shot

  1. I totally agree re Poppy Parade - I had not used it before but have totally fallen in love with it too! And it's all due to the colour combos in the Everyday Enchantment DSP! Love your card Helen! Nx

  2. Great card! The label goes so well with this DSP! Isn't it amazing how the right paper can make you love a certain color! I was the same way with pool party!

  3. Love the colours Helen, and I think the same about the Everyday Enchantment DSP. I've used it more than any other for my classes.
