New catty sneak peek! Autumn Days

It's a really autumnal morning here. Summer seems to have left us for good now. So I thought it was time for this card. It’s inspired by a card made by a stamper called Shannon Bracken – I changed it around a bit of course; that happens even when I don’t try!

Do you recognise the stamp set? I hope not because it’s a brand new one from the new catalogue. It’s called Autumn Days and features these gorgeous foliage/wheat stamps as well as a handsome pheasant. Perfect for the colours from the Earth Elements family.

I stamped the images, then “stamped off” – that is I stamped again without reinking. This gives a paler shade and I really like the effect on this card. Then I sponged chalk around the edges of the cardstock with the matching Stampin’ Pastels, before inking the edges of the cardstock with Creamy Caramel. The vanilla tab received the same treatment. I inked around the edges of the main card base with Pumpkin Pie.

Stamps: Autumn Days, Basic Phrases
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, textured Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Very Vanilla
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Round Tab Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Stampin’ Pastels, Kraft taffeta ribbon
