I cannot believe that I have a 21-year-old nephew – that makes me feel really old! And how on earth do you make a card for a 21-year-old man?
Chipboard to the rescue. I inked the numbers using a Really Rust marker – I find it easier than using inkpads. These were slightly overlayed on a narrow strip of Designer Series Paper. I made the photo corner with the Tag punch – punch once, then use the template (not the tag) and punch again to make an L shape. Then trim it at an angle with scissors.
Lots of piercing for non-girly detail!
Stamps: Nope!
Cardstock: Really Rust, Whisper White, Sahara Sand
Paper: Haiku
Ink: Really Rust marker
Accessories: Crafters’ Toolkit, Large Tag Punch, On Board Lots of Letters

That was clever Helen! Great card idea but don't feel old yet ! Try having a 21 year old son, 20 year old daughter, 18 year old son and a 16 year old son! I still can't believe it! Anna
ReplyDeleteAhhh...to be 21 again. I would give my eyeteeth for that. Very manly card, Helen.
ReplyDeleteVery hot! Love the simplicity of it.
ReplyDeleteI really struggle with male cards and you have made this seem so easy. Thanks for sharing!
