Isn’t it annoying how it’s so much easier to decide what looks right once everything is all stuck down? Looking at this card now, I think it would have been better with the tab on the top right, to balance against the figure 8 and the frog. And the vertical strip of Designer Paper could do with being narrower. Oh well, it’s done and sent now!
The chipboard letter is coloured with Real Red ink. I just laid the letter on some scrap paper and applied the ink pad direct… over and over again! There were some missed bits on the sides of the small centre pieces, so I touched them up with a Real Red marker.
I coloured the frog with marker and blender pen. It looked horrible for ages and I was beginning to regret cutting out the frog in advance but it all came together in the end.
The frog stamp set (Unfrogettable), the Designer Papers (Petals & Paisleys; Dashing) and the chipboard (On Board Lots of Letters) are all retiring at the end of the month so order now if you don’t want to miss out!
