Endless Wishes in muted neutrals

Happy Monday everyone! Although I’m still struggling with a horrible cold which is now being compounded with earache, which is not much fun. Still, you don’t need to know all that.

Onwards and upwards… and here’s another Christmas card using Endless Wishes from the Autumn/Winter catalogue. Last weekend, I enjoyed a Shoebox Swap with my team, where we all created a project for each other to make. I kept mine really simple as I knew there would be a lot to do. I really like these muted shades and hope you do too!

Remember, if you wish to purchase any of these products from me, all you have to do is click on the images below.

Caturday: Fifi

Isn’t Fifi a stunner? Look at that incredible ear hair! She’s adorable, too, and likes nothing better than a snuggle on a warm person. She has a brother, Fido, with equally exciting ear hair – but he doesn’t sit still long enough for photos! Both need homes, contact Woodland Nook for details...

Tiny Treat boxes, all dressed up for Christmass

You will love these Tiny Treat boxes! Not least because you get a whopping 25 in a pack for just £6.25! They are really easy to assemble and are about 2” square, just right for little gifts of jewellery, sweets, or to create party favours. The All is Calm Snowflake Embellishments make the perfect finishing touch – they’re absolutely gorgeous!

Or you could follow Stampin’ Up!’s suggestion and use these cute little boxes to create a fabulous advent calendar, pairing them with the 25 Days stamp set (Autumn/Winter catty, p12).

I used them to create gifts for the ladies in my Virtual Hostess Club and also as a bonus project at my Christmas workshop last weekend. Although I did swap the Baker’s Twine for white and some of the stamping on the tag for Real Red. You get the idea though…

Endless Wishes washi tags

At my Christmas workshop at the weekend I offered a couple of bonus projects, too. This one is a set of simple tags, illustrating just how easy your Christmas preparations can be with a few simple products. I love my Scallop Tag Topper punch, which is great for so much more than punches. Washi tape is always a winner and, with this set, you get five different designs.  And, of course, Endless Wishes is a must-have Christmas set this year, with its delicate snowflakes and numerous mix-and-match sentiments.

Nature's Peace embossed card

This was the fourth project at my Christmas workshop last weekend. It was the most complicated of the four but I do love the colours, the sentiment and this stamp set is right up my street.

The key to this card was to stamp and emboss the Peace on Earth design first, then stamp over the top using Hardwood and Crumb Cake. Because the embossed area is smooth and shiny, you can wipe away any excess Crumb Cake ink easily.

Of course, I always forget something and this time I forgot to pack the Baker’s Twine for this project… that’s because I had to order it in specially and forgot to add it to the box. Doh!

White Christmas polar bear on an iceberg

Here’s another project from my Christmas workshop at the weekend. It features a polar bear on an iceberg, where he belongs, not under a tree, where he doesn’t. (Don’t start me off.)

Again, I made two designs so people could choose. I stamped off the Chalk Lines which isn’t as easy with photopolymer as it is with rubber, but the mottled effect worked ok, I think, because it’s suppose to represent the sea. There’s a lot of tearing on this card and that Glimmer Paper doesn’t half put up a fight!

The sequins are stuck down with my homemade glue dots, as the ones we can buy from Stampin’ Up!® are a little too large for this job. I simply dotted Tombow adhesive onto some waxed paper and allowed it to dry. This does take several hours, so you have to prepare ahead.
